That's just frigging laughable. The highest batting average Theriot has ever put up at any level (AA in this case) over a full season is .304. The highest OBP? .367 in high A ball. So what in the blue hell is going to make a 27 year old suddenly become a .400 OBP guy in the majors when he didn't even come close to that in the minors?

 

Murton won't do it either, but I'm not willing to laugh you out of the building for suggesting that.

Is his hitting, speed, and D better than Cedeno's? I realize Cedeno is "only" a minor-leaguer right now, but that's only b/c Hendry can't find any way to get rid of Izturis and not even Jim is dumb enough to carry 5 middle-infielders.
