Watching the Cubs is the biggest up and down roller coaster you've ever been on. After the the climb up we've reached the top of this current bunnyhill and we will now plumet down the next 6 or 7 games until we climb back up again.

i thought mike kablooie was pitching for the nats.

According to the probables, Micah Bowie pitches on Tuesday.

thanks, i must have heard that wrong.

No. You didn't hear wrong. I heard Len say the same thing at the end of the broadcast today.

Len actually said Bowie is pitching the next game broadcast on WGN (which would be Tuesday).

Will be there all fours games this series! yay! Cubs have lost the last two series here in Washington. They should fare better this year.

Soriano should have a big series.

Agree- he's obviously shown he can hit in that park. I'm curious to hear what the crowd reaction will be when his name is announced. I doubt he'll receive any serious boos; for one he was only there for a year, two everyone knows Bowden wasn't even in the ballpark as far as what he command with his next contract, and three the Nats don't have real baseball fans who were actually paying attention during all this (or would who even give a crap).

Well, considering roughly half of the crowd will be Cubs fans (I'm not kidding!), I expect the applause will be much louder than the boos.

I'll be taping this one again. The Cubs tend to have a good record when I tape.

what is this "tape" of which you speak?

When I was still living in DC, I've seen all the Cubs games there up until this point. Last year, however, wasn't so much fun when they showed up and got swept. The only bright spot was Aramis jacking out home runs like the park was the tiniest in the league.

Cherry got hurt and Petrick got recalled back up. If its any consolation, I missed that too.
