Wise in to pitch for Milwaukee

Theriot doubled to down the left field line

Lee singled to left field , Theriot to third

Ramirez grounded into a DP, 4-6-3, Lee out at second, Theriot scored

DeRosa popped out to shallow center field

I've said it before, but the Cubs need to do away with the guest conductor. I'm tired of hearing stupid celebs embarrass themselves, and then the terribly awkward conversation during the inning. Just let Ronnie do it from now on.

Stick with him, but it wouldn't hurt to start warming up a guy. When Marquis falls apart he does it in a hurry. Edited by Elrhino

OK, the starting pitching in this series for the Cubs has basically gone the exact opposite of how I thought it would go. Nicely done, Marquis. I am flabbergasted.

That is a big positive. I wouldn't mind if they got rid of the interview during the bottom of the seventh. Just let them sing and then get lost.

Bah. Would have liked to see Marquis go at least another inning after pitching so well last inning.
