Think of it this way....when the game starts, it will only be 10 on the west coast. How would you like to play a game at 10 am?

I REALLY want to win this game. I saw on SportsNite, last night, that the Cubs haven't won a series against the Padres at Wrigley Field since 1999. :shock: That has to change!

Optimistic about Z today.

 

Game isn't on WGN and it's blacked out on Extra Innings.

 

Which, oddly enough, is good for my career today. It got me to come into work and just listen to the game online.

 

Need to keep it rolling here...at some point the Cubs are going to need an 8-10 game win streak to get right back in the middle of things. Three down already.

 

I think the Brewers come to Wrigley for a weekend series in two weeks. Would be nice to be in striking distance by then and really put the pressure on them.

The game is on WGN in a little less than an hour. It's part of the 5 games in a row on WGN campaign, which btw the Cubs are 3-0 so far, which has to make the executives at WGN happy (they were promoting this for a couple of weeks, so more people probably tuned in than normal, and Cubs wins might keep them tuning in).
