you're wrong. he tagged him with the elbow. if you have Tivo, rewind and look at it.

the throw beat him by plenty. unfortunately for your argument, it doesn't matter how much the throw beats him by, the defense still must apply the tag.

I did and I am right.

And this is why Lee needs to keep his cool.

I'm pretty sure that pitch was pretty close to Lee's wrist and I'm pretty sure he missed most of the year last year with a broken wrist

so the sensible thing to do is throw a haymaker with the same wrist.

It was his left wrist right?

Anyone notice.. Z...

well, you know?

no

I noticed. He's walking people, and it sounds from Pat like he's letting his arm drop back down. I hope he manages to keep the Padres from scoring, because he's gotten a couple lucky bailouts already.

Anyone got his pitch count?

I don't care. The team needs him.

Exactly my point - that is why he can't allow guys to just chuck it at his head or his wrist

What? So the better option is to get suspended, leaving the team without their best hitter for ten games and not preventing future instances of beaning (actually making it more likely by starting a fight)?

On another completely different note, has anyone mentioned how bad of an idea it is to give Sharpie markers away to fans? I can't wait for the next time I go to a game so that I can see someone's name written on the seat in front of me.

Umm, how does that work? Lee punched with his right hand.

He's had some lucky bailouts from the fielders, but other fielders got him into the situations that required said bailouts.

I admitted my mistake. others should be so big.

This is the only left-hander the Padres have in the bullpen, right? Because that middle of the order is ugly against left-handers right now. Pie is probably the worst, than Izturis, than Floyd-but none of them are good in that situation.
