no fair making great plays against the Pads

seriously, what the hell is he arguing about?

Otto says Black is arguing about DeRosa's foot possibly coming off the bag, and apparently it didn't.

Holy CRAP, what did I miss?!?!

What did Young say to Lee to get him swinging like that?

http://boards.espn.go.com/boards/mb/mb?sport=mlb&id=sdg&tid=982363&lid=10

he absolutely didn't say that

If he did, I place no blame on DLee

if that was said there wouldn't be a mob in the world that coulda pulled dlee off of chris young. all you would've heard was that noise you hear in rocky when he's punching the meat in the processing plant as young's face gets reconstructed by lee's fist.

like in sin city when bruce willis just keeps punching that yellow guy in the face until his face is essentially mush....thats what would have happened...o yea and he would have ripped his nuts off just like that.

cmon elaine sing it

I have to give props to the 1b ump there. THat is what an Ump is supposed to do when a Manager comes out and argues. He remains calm, doesn't yell back and just shrugs his shoulders. How can the manager keep being upset when the ump isn't giving him a reason to be.

Good job. If the ump that Lou got mad at did something like that then Lou would have just gotten kicked out and not suspended.

BTW, Julia is STILL hot!

And this is why Lee needs to keep his cool.

I'm pretty sure that pitch was pretty close to Lee's wrist and I'm pretty sure he missed most of the year last year with a broken wrist

I don't care. The team needs him.

Exactly my point - that is why he can't allow guys to just chuck it at his head or his wrist

What? So the better option is to get suspended, leaving the team without their best hitter for ten games and not preventing future instances of beaning (actually making it more likely by starting a fight)?

Better than being out for the season with a broken wrist.............I was at the game in 1992 were we lost Sosa for the season on a pitch just like that

He clearly wasn't out for the season, and getting into a fight isn't going to improve the condition of his wrist, or disincline pitchers to throw at him.

so the sensible thing to do is throw a haymaker with the same wrist.

Umm, how does that work? Lee punched with his right hand.

I admitted my mistake. others should be so big.

Your admission came the post above mine, at the exact same time.

I know. my comment was directed at two long time respecteds who came after me for ridiculous reasons in this thread.
