Okay, so I was at the game today and here are a few of my notes:

 

1-The home plate umpire drove me up a friggin' wall with his 10-second delay before calling a ball/strike.

 

2- Pie NAILED that triple, and holy crap can he fly. It's even more impressive in person. And in his second at bat...that shoulda been a home run. he missed by literally two feet and the wind was blowing in when he hit it.

 

3- Cesar Izturis? Seriously? hahahahhahah

 

4- Lee really made me mad. He looked so out of it. He just watched quite a few great pitches just float over the plate.

 

5- Ellison (I think thats his name...#9) is a prick. He fake-threw to the stands at least three times during warmups.

I had to ask, what kind of a camera were you using? I mean, it must be a pretty darn good camera just to get that up-close. Yeah, they showed up pretty darn good.

 

And hope that you had a good time at Wrigley.

Really nice pics, Roast.

 

Remember when Pie was skinny? He's really added a lot of weight. Stop me now before I start thinking he might actually turn out well.

Ohman is white too....

 

It almost looks like Izturis..but I dont think Izturis was on that side of the field, I'm pretty sure that he was in the batting cages...

 

 

Also, I'm actually kinda disappointed with my pics from this game. I was messing around with some of the different modes on the camera (like with the marquis warming up pics) and some of them turned out blurry.

by the way, THIS is the camera I was using. I LOVE that thing. It's a Godsend. A blind monkey could take great pictures with that thing.

Those are some really nice pics. I was in the bleachers in April, and the dude sitting next to me showed me a ball that Dempster signed for him which said "Ninja Warrior, Ryan Dempster."

 

Said Demp was the only pitcher to sign.

not really considering that's why he's on the DL

I know thats why he's on the DL, but I always seem to think there is more to the injuries than what the team says.
