Really its annoying because you're telling us how we should react. Just take care of your own reactions and everone will be fine.

 

Deal with it. I think that disrespectufl bashing of players sucks and is pathetic. I have every right to voice that opinion. If you think it's cool, so be it. If message boards could be rid of annoyances, there would be none that exist. I annoy you, the bashing annoys me. I'm done talking about this.

 

If Mojo and CubbieChris think Barrett is awful and has always been mediocre to bad, then so be it. I can certainly have my own opinion of those views.

 

Seriously man, how long is it going to take you to figure out people say irrational things in game threads? It's been several seasons now, this schtick of popping up in game threads to yell at people for not being objective is old.

Fine, but how am I being disrespectful with my posts about Barrett? I've said that I thought he had a good bat...I just don't like him as a catcher, and I never have. I really don't see how that "deserves" getting jumped on like I did for things I said that have nothing to do with that opinion or how I said it.

But here's the thing. I'm not bashing you for supporting Barrett the way you are bashing me for not supporting him. I'm done and back to the game.

I hate that his career has been derailed by injury, but love Kerry. I feel bad for him he was picked by the Cubs.

 

Kerry will never get the wrath of Cubs fans. Prior on the other hand, he's going to get booed quite a bit whenever he's at Wrigley.

I don't dislike him either. Again I feel bad for the guy that he was drafted by the Cubs. You got to hand it to us, we ruined two arms that come around once every ten years for a team.

 

I don't dislike him either, in fact, I love him. But if Prior has bad outings as a Cub, or comes back in a different uniform, I see him getting rained with boos.

Well those people, not the ones who "turned on" Barrett are real gems. The guy is hurt. Our abusive team did it to him.
