Go Cubs! Beat the 'stros.

By the way, I have a choice of tickets for Thursday's game against the Mariners or Friday versus the Padres.

Which would you choose?

I took the Thursday Mariners' game. But, I still have time to change my mind and switch. My thinking is that I'm afraid the Padres' pitching will just shut down the Cubs.

Well, the Padres just got swept by the Mariners so who knows? The Padres bullpen was surprisingly leaky during that series...

I went from mad to excited to mad again. I hate you Cubs for doing this to me.

That never changes. Cubs will always give you hope, but let you down in the end.

The thing is I'm usually annoyingly optimistic with the Cubs. Just with this game it just seemed there were force who did everything they could to force us to lose.

It's not just this game. How many games have we seen this year alone that was similar.

Maybe thats why I'm so angry about this game. All the other ridiculous calls finally got me just annoyed as anything. I really haven't been this mad since Game 6.

I'm not sure about that. 2004 was forever one of the most annoying Cubs team ever. Way, way too much talent on that team.

Honestly no team scares me in the NL. We match up with anyone. We should've beat them last series if it wasn't for our pen. Every team has their faults.

I could be wrong here, but I believe it would be Weaver's turn in the rotation for the Mariners and I would hope the Cubs could jump on him. Unless he gets pushed back based on his back injury yesterday.

well, if it means anything, it's only dempster's 2nd blown save.

(out of an estimated 33 blown saves come the end of the season)

I don't mind the blown save, it's the loss that gets me. In 2005, the Cubs won every game where he had a blown save... Anyway, stuff happens. This game, with the ump throwing out Lilly and putting us behind the 8 ball, was not one I wanted to lose.

The bright side is they can shake it off rather quickly tomorrow. Both the Cards and Brewers are off on Monday so the Cubs can add a win without scoreboard watching.

Z vs Woody Williams. Zambrano needs to be efficient and effective tomorrow.

Weaver's probably pitching Thursday

he pitches around the double. No runs score

Are you getting this through yahoo gamechannel?

I'm listening on Gameday audio (game is blacked out because it's Sunday night). Also following it on Gameday.
