Wuertz, Marmol and Guzman could be a great back 3 of the bullpen for a long time. I'd rather Guzman be starting, but that's 3 excellent arms and a lot of good sliders.

Soriano has been great when Pie has been on the team. The Cubs as a team have been noticeably better as well.

Hopefully, Cotts will join that group.

I'd rather Gooz and Marmol be starting. Nothing quite like selling high on Marquis and Marshall.

I really think Pie brings a spark to them team..Before yesterday, I beleive they were like 12-9 with him..When he's there, the hitting seems more contagious and the players don't look so bored and out of it.

Jones or JD Drew?

Drew , 23 games in the past month, a .165 average and .305 on-base

Whats Jones at?

21 games, .205 BA, .263 OBP, .329 SLG

Drew's SLG: .237

Drew OPS: .542

Jones: .592

Ouch.

comparing Marshall to Marquis? that's harsh.

Assuming the Cubs win tonight, they'll be 14-9 with him, and 11-22 without him. I looked yesterday and Soriano's numbers are a lot better when Pie is there too.

Simply in the fact that their perceived value is probably a lot higher now than we're likely to see it for a while to come. I'd rather hold on to Marshall than Marquis, if it came to it.

I know I never take a fridge break when he's batting. Electrifying player.

As for Soriano... Pie lets Soriano worry less about his defense and more about his hitting. Same can't be said for a Jones CF.

Marshall's got some pretty snazzy minor league numbers, especially for having a ton of fluke injuries to deal with.

Hell, I ripped apart my entire living room when I saw the lineup looking for my cell phone to make sure my friends knew he was in the game. If he does that for me, I can't imagine what he does for the rest of the team.

Brewers announcers claim the Cubs don't want to talk extension with Zambrano. Hmmmm, that's not exactly how it went down...

Nothing like making s*** up when you don't have a clue.
