I wouldn't be opposed to a 2-3 week open-trade-market type deal before announcing the keepers, that could be interesting.

 

Also, I agree with vance that the scoring/roster size is good as-is.

The only change I would make to the scoring would be to allow partial points. Especially with backs and recievers only getting points every 20 yards, there's a lot in between that could make a difference. Otherwise I'm good with having a couple weeks to size things up before declaring our three keepers.

Yeah, I didnt even think about that, that would help a ton with QB's.

I could deal with that, although maybe up it to 550, or make a provision that you can keep at least 2 players even if they add up to more than 500?

Yeah, I think a higher number works a little better, because then the better teams can keep a small number of their best players, and the lesser teams can spread it out to more players so they have fewer holes to fill in the draft(and they have high picks to try to get an impact type guy).

 

I'd be perfectly content playing it straight with 3 keepers though.

I do like the idea of a month or so of a trading window before we do the draft, we just need to make sure that everyone knows about it.

I like the idea of points for receptions, but I think it causes WRs to become too overvalued and RBs skyrocket. I do think QBs are overvalued now (should not get 6 points for TD pass, more like 4). But I don't think we should do both receptions and decrease QB points. One or the other.

 

I like a window to trade. But I can't see getting anything back of value that I would keep unless we trade draft picks. As it stands, I'm gonna have to drop 3 of Palmer, Portis, Wayne, Ro. Brown. I can't see getting anything in return that will make me drop the one I keep or Bush or Gore, who I am nearly 100% sure I'm keeping.
