I don't think LaTroy was a bust as much as he was misused by Dusty. He's supposed to be a setup man, not a closer, and when used in that role by Dusty he did well.

I don't post here often, but I can't believe Jeff "the Gas Can" Fassero and Kyle "let me blow an eight run lead" Farnsworth haven't been mentioned. I was at a game in Milwaukee a few years ago, and Farnsworth came in with something like a nine or ten run lead, and gave up six or seven runs before being taken out. And then there was the punching a fan incident.

By the way, can I ask why Hee Seop Choi was included in this poll? What did he ever do wrong other than not performing the moment he was called up as a 23 year old? He was traded before we could ever really see what kind of player Hee (Corny, I know, sorry) could have become for us, and from the looks of it he never got a fair shot with Florida or LA either.

Ron Coomer always bugged me. Besides sucking, he didn't bother staying in shape, which I hate to see in a professional athlete. The worst thing was that cocky smirk. If you suck and you're plainly out of shape then you shouldn't smirk on the field.

He was a huge bust, but that's not the point of the poll, so there's no sense in arguing that point for the eleventy billionth time.

I voted based on who I hate the most on this list, and it's not even close.

That is true; the poll is for least favorite, not worst.

am I the only one who remembers Mark Guthrie? I suppose thats a good thing.

A kid in my high school government class who was also named Guthrie claimed to be his nephew. I couldn't decide whether to pity or jeer him after the 2003 playoffs.
