Daryle Ward does look like he could do a fair bit more damage than JD.

Maybe I'm biased because I have been a Marshall fan since the get-go, but I think he did fine tonight. The defense did what it was supposed to do.

I think you'd have a hard time finding someone that thinks otherwise. You really can't expect more than 7IP 2ER 8Ks from him in his first start. I'd take his performance every game if I had the choice.

Fake rally most definitely. We haven't had enough heartbreak yet tonight. I say we'll get the bases loaded with 1 out and spoil it again.

He also got very lucky those hard hit line drives found defenders. But that's the nature of the game.

 

I'm glad to see him missing a lot of bats though.
