I hate when people say conditions are going to make HR impossible (marine layer, wind blowing in hard). The Cubs always find away to defy mother nature.

An 0-2 pitch that is that hittable?

Makes no sense.

I don't think that was where he meant to throw it. He probably wanted it a little further below the belt.

For anybody who's interested, there's a rematch of Oswalt vs. Lincecum going on right now.

yeah, i'm pretty sure they have him figured out...

either that or hill doesn't have himself figured out as well as he did previously

Naw, he's just missing his spots.

well, hopefully he can start hitting them soon, because he can't keep up what he's been doing the last month and win.

This is going to happen when he can't spot the fastball. Guys are just sitting on the curve. Some nights you just don't have it.

Kouzmanoff: .185/.258/.296 before today's game.

53 OPS+

to be fair he's hitting around .350 this month

If I see this Dick's commercial one more time on MLB.TV I'm gonna explode.

I switched to the radio broadcast and what am I greeted with? DICK'S SPORTING GOODS... then a San Diego home run.

Hill is allowed to "just not have it" but Z is not?

Maybe it's just me. but you seemed to be very eager to jump all over Z, but you're pretty defensive of Hill.

CUBS are 6-10 when the opponent steals a base.... 14-12 when they don't

CUBS have not caught a baserunner stealing in their last 17 games

Go CUBS !!

CUBS are 20-22

Go CUBS!!

No offense, but there is absolutely nothing random about the stats I post.

better?

Ya nailed it !!!

Man. He must've had a Ronny Cedeno April if he's hitting .350 and his BA is still under .200.

like i said, he needs to quit making a habit out of 'some nights.'
