So if the Knicks/Bulls win who do you take?

Oden. Anyone who says otherwise knows very little about basketball and especially the NBA.

Yep. But if the Bulls get the #2 pick, there is no way they should pass on Durant though. I could care less about need. Need should not even be considered when you have a lottery pick in the NBA draft. You draft on talent alone.

Oh, absolutely. I'd say the same thing about #2: anyone that wouldn't take Durant at that spot knows very little about basketball. The Bulls would then be in an enviable position of having almost too many talented players and thus setting up a big trade.

I ran the ESPN lottery dealie, and the second time I ran it we won the lottery and drafted Oden.

Here's hoping.

I got it like the 15th time.

In reality, I would absolutely love a top 3 pick. Al Horford would be awesome.

on the one hand, it's much harder for Stern to fix the lottery since the odds are so bad. on the other, no one sees the drawing, so he can say whatever he wants. don't tell me Price Waterhouse Cooper or whomever isn't above taking a little payola to turn their head during the "audit" of the drawing.

the video of the 1985 lottery is so obviously fixed.

it's not that off the wall. The lottery was REALLY easy to fix, he desperately wanted Ewing in NY, etc.

it wouldn't surprise me, though i think the knicks would have a better chance of winning it if they were keeping their pick

It would surprise me with their 1.9% chance.

This is going to be a strange lottery for me. One bounce of the ball changes the Pacers fortune for the next 3-4 years-unfortunately, it's not likely to happen in a good way. The Pacers will either have one of the top 3 picks in the draft or no pick at all, in either the 1st or the 2nd round. What happens tonight probably decides if the team reloads or rebuilds.

Only move Walsh has made that makes me want to puke uncontrollably. Friggen' Al Harrington.

Him giving Jamaal Tinsley a boatload of cash didn't rile you up?

Wow. They really went all out trying to make this as complicated as possible.

No doubt, that board was huge.
