Thanks Colorado bullpen for getting Fuentes in for the 1 out save. Still waiting for the save points for Valverde.

Oh well, if I'm going to lose I may as well lose in style.

Just don't warm up until after we play.

This could be the best week ever for the Dishmans. We're pushing the 300 point mark and still have 2 starts remaining. I smell a 160 point week next week.

Maybe my players are saving their points until next week to make sure I beat you. :D

I'm up 111, but Quakers has 3 more starts to my 0. And he has the option of having 2 of those starts being White Sox pitchers against the Cubs offense...I'm in trouble.

I wished I shared your optimism in my ability to bounce back. This just has not been my week. Sigh....

Yeah, I'm running away with this now. I'll thank Cabrera for getting your team off to a bad start.

7 ip, 11 tba, 3 er, 6 k's, 2 bb's, win gets only 15.5 points...that kinda sucks. would have been a lot more last year.

i'm interested to see what the pitching points look like at the end of the season.

Yeah, I'm not overly fond of how the points are calculating.

Although the pitching does appear to be somewhat close to the hitting.

TBA takes too many points, IMO.

Just some minor tinkering would probably get the job done.

Maybe 1 point for a K and -.50 for a walk, or possibly even equal value? Maybe -.50 for a TBA. Maybe change an ER to -3?

That would make a solo home run -2 for the TBA and another -2.5 for the earned run, nullifying the inning pitched.

A triple, as it stands now is -3, which almost nullifies the inning pitched by itself. A pitcher who pitches out of the jam and prevents the runner from scoring should be rewarded a bit more than 1.5 for the inning pitched. Looking at it from another perspective, a triple that never scores should not cost a pitcher more than giving up a run.

I guess what I'm seeing is too many points deducted for pitching, but just about the right amount added. An effective pitcher is getting an appropriate amount of points, but ineffective pitchers are really getting hammered in points. I think TBA is the root cause of the bulk of the deductions.

Not just Cabrera, but Dunn has 3.75 points for the week, Beltran has just 14, Mauer normally has 20 some points but he is injured and his replacement has -1 points. To top it off I have had little starting pitching.

I began our game with high hopes. I had knocked off the Lynx and NSBB during the two previous weeks.

Would've been nice to have the high week, but Team NSBB is gonna make it tough. Aramis obviously got used to the change of scenery in a hurry.

Apparently, I have to have the high score for the week to win. I'll have achieved that feat three times and my record will be 3-4. :?

Awesome. The one thing that sticks out from the standings is how you couldn't guess who is where by looking at the points scored.

Deductions coming, but I'm content with whatever is coming.

Unless Mo goes out and has a lousy appearance, I'm losing 19 points overnight.

I'll at most have 353.35 and that's with 2 single point and 1 negative start this week.

No question I scored so well this week because my four man rotation all had exceptional starts each time out. They scored around 165 points this week for me. Really good week for the offense, too, though. ARam was a huge addition so far.

The ARam addition has definitely paid off.

FWIW my team wouldn't be doing good had I not got some Hardy guy off waivers.

I'm glad I could help in both cases.. ugh! I'm wondering if my team is good enough to come back and finish at .500 for the year. I'm less than 100 points under the league leader and am now 2-5.

platinum sombrero for aj...ouch.

myers has turned into quite the closer. still a stupid decision, but it's worth a lot of points for me.

I take a commanding one point lead on Raw for the points title race.

You weren't even on the radar before this week. I guess outscoring me by 100 will get you there.

On the other hand, I led the league in scoring for the first 5 weeks. Having two out of three weeks with point totals in the 190's really cuts down a lead, though.

I'm guessing the scoring evens things out by the end of the season. The current W/L records is certainly surprising.

I wound up losing by more than 200 points (I wonder if that's ever been done before) and had the lowest score of the week. I believe I actually wound up with negative pitching points. Like I said before, if I'm going to lose I may as well lose in style. :D
