THE DON!!!

needs to get his act together.

He did last time.

I must've missed that.

6+ IP, 3 ER, 3 H, 9 K/2 BB, 1 HR - 2 of the walks and 2 of the runs came in the 7th, the runs scored after he left.

Peoria Journal Star[/url]"]Starting pitcher Billy Muldowney was activated from the disabled list after having soreness in his right elbow. Muldowney will start on Sunday against Fort Wayne. To make room for Muldowney, the Chicago Cubs sent Julio Castillo to extended spring training. Castillo was 0-0 with a 7.27 earned run average and 15 walks in 8 2/3 innings.

Ugh, Ceda couldn't get out of the second...gave up 3 runs and Papelbon had to come in and get out of a bases loaded jam.

Ceda: 1.2 IP, 3 ER, 1 H, 1 K, 6 BB. Didn't have much control but Nate is saying the ump's strike zone wasn't that great.

Peoria down 3-1 in the top of the third.

flat out the single worst home plate umpire i have EVER seen. no high strikes, no at the knee strikes, no outside corner....awful, just awful. Ceda actually pitched pretty well. its a shame...

Well, that's a little more reassuring.

Peoria down 3-2 as we go to the 9th. Papelbon had a good outing in relief today: 3.1 IP, 2 hits, 0 runs, 1 K/2 BB's. Platt threw three innings of relief without allowing a hit, only walking one, and struck out two.

I could tell you thought the umps were bad but you were pretty careful with your words. I don't think I'd have as much self control! :)
