imagine how good soriano could be if he actually had any idea what the hell he was doing in the box.

Yep.

his .308 (before that k) avg shows he has no clue what the hell is going on.

i'm not saying he sucks...i'm just saying that if he had even a slight understanding of the strike zone, he would be amazing.

Cubs have drawn six walks through three innings.

And Speigner didn't have a single ER go against him that inning... his ERA went down with his performance that inning.

He would be Sosa of '01.

yep. i swear, sometimes it looks like he's never played baseball before.

he's got a swing to die for, though.

Oh he has as much natural talent as anyone I have ever seen. But, sometimes his baseball iq is, well, not good.

If the Cubs just had stood at the plate and not swung, how many runs do you think they would have scored that inning? I'm going with 12. Edited by Sarcastic

That's why I laugh when anyone brings up a reliever's ERA.

i'm not arguing that.

If that inning took place last year:

the 8 hitter, angel pagan, probably would have swung at the first pitch. Fly out, 1 out

rich hill then would have attempted a suicide squeeze, and probably failed because he can't bunt. He eventually strikes out, 2 out

Soriano strikes out, 3 outs

1 run, bases left loaded

The AFLAC trivia question has to remind us of that game the Rockies scored in every inning of the game back in '99?
