DeRosa has played quite a bit lately with Theriot in at short most days-it's probably good that they are giving him the 2nd game off. It's good though that they didn't put Blanco out there then so the team can still have enough power in the lineup.

Nice to see the 22-year old rookie, who needs to play everyday, sitting again.....during a streak where he has swung the bat very well. Including Sunday, that makes 3 of 4 days he has sat, after hitting about .370 for the previous week.

It's annoying that the worst of the the three is the one that's going to get the most starts. I'd prefer both Murton and Floyd over Jones, even though I don't hate Jones as much as everyone else here.

 

Oh well, let's get a win! This would be a huge day if we could pull two wins out of our hat.

More outrage that Murton isn't starting than Pie? Even if Soriano was still in CF, the plan was to NOT start Murton vs. tough RHPs. Snell has been as tough as they come this year. And you know after Floyd and Jones just homered last game, that he wouldn't start over either of them.
