up 35 going into sunday...one start for each team. i'm half-tempted to bank on a 35 point cushion being enough and just sit sheets to prevent the possibility of a -12 point outing.

for the fourth time in five weeks, the sunday night game is likely going to determine whether i win or lose.

Yeah, I'm up 37 and debating on whether I should sit Sabathia or not.

I lead by slightly over 25, and have one start remaining to Buddiga's none. Barring a no-no by Washburn I probably won't have a third consecutive 300+ point week, but I should win.

If current trends hold up, there will likely be a four-way tie at 3-2 for second place in the East (Hand Sanitizers, Raw Dawgs, Buddiga, and myself). Harrys Budcrew looks like they'll be alone at 5-0, but that WILL change next week. :D

FIXED!

The worst, Kei Igawa.

:(

My original offer still stands, I am debating your counter offer.

jj hardy -- best player in baseball right now? wow.

whew, only five innings for johan, and the brewers are knocking capps around. and then capps gets ejected for drilling fielder.

Too many pitches. Red Sox are good, even when they aren't hitting. I needed a 20-pter from Johan.

Regardless, the difference this week is that Soriano and Teixeira have risen from the dead to outscore the majority of my offense.....and that's not including a 32 pt week from Fielder so far.

I need a negative outing from Sheets today, and another Hamels 40-spot from Hamels.

And the second Yankees hitter of the day took care of that possibility.

Just let me know either way. I'd love to get a deal done by week 6 though if at all possible. Have any interest in Furcal?

Week 6 could be the week Chris has a pitching rotation. Harden may be back and I've got Claudio Vargas and Fausto Carmona ready for 2 starts. He went 8.1 vs Baltimore the last time he faced them so a quality start could be in his future.

nevermind...fielder may be hotter.

but don't worry, cubs fans, the brewers aren't very good.

Roger Clemens rejoins the Yankees after three seasons in Houston. The future Hall of Famer makes the announcement to fans at today's Mariners-Yankees game.

clemens and pettitte are mlb's most adorable couple.

you would have been better off having clemens return to houston to mow down the nl central.

Agreed. However, Clemens in the AL East is better than my other options at this point. I doubt he'll be giving up 22.5 a la Kei Igawa.

The battle for the lead in the West is neck and neck. Eyes of Texas shows about a 14 point lead, but will be losing about 15 points in TBA by Greinke.

Of course, neither team really wanted it this week, since I think we are the two least scoring teams in Roadkill this week.

Going into the 5 o'clock game, Eyes of Texas has Utley, Bonds (day off today?) and potentially 2 relievers and I just have Rollins. And, there are still several other games still in progress.

I get The Eyes of TX and Fuzzy over the next 2 weeks. Considering that they're both ahead of me in the division, it should be fun. I guess I should take comfort in the fact that I'm only 2-3 after this week.

I just wish I could get 7 starts in a week. I've had my 7th start lost to postponements and this week I lost my 7th start due to a blister.

Bonderman against the Royals? May not have been big points, but last time I looked Detroit was winning 13-0. Not sure who is pitching in Bonderman's place, but I sure could have used my 7th start this week.

You did end up getting that! That's sweet!

Now you have to get a set. NYY, Tor, Houston................... that would be nice.

The only thing is that I have no clue how many different teams would even be available. I'm not sure how early MLB teams may have gone to direct deposit.

True. I'd keep my eye out for one of them, though. It would be pretty cool to have a check from all his different teams.

Agreed. FWIW I'd just like to see another one so I could see how the prices compare.
