this draft is interesting.

 

Cubs 1-0 on rbi doub by blanco, almost went yard.

 

This has been one of the more exciting drafts in years.

The 2nd that the Cowboys gave up was the 36th pick that we got from Cleveland.

 

Makes me like the trade less. If it were our own second, I wouldn't have minded it so much!

 

Oh well. When it's all said and done, we dropped four spots in the first and traded a 3rd and 5th for Cleveland's 1st rounder next year. All in all, still a good deal. I just don't like the pick more than anything.

Holy crap, apparently we gave the Eagles a 1st next year too...I really hope that is completely wrong.

 

Thank god, NFL.com just removed this from the trade. I was about to kill someone.

hahahaha, the Dallas fans were so excited a few minutes ago...

 

I'm still excited about that trade. Our LB's next year for WP to have fun with: LOLB-Spencer LILB-Carpenter RILB-Ayodele ROLB-Ware, that is going to be fun to watch.

I still am. I don't like the pick, but we still have our second rounder and two first rounders next year. A third and fifth isn't bad to move down four spots and still have Cleveland's first rounder next year.

 

I just don't like what we did with the pick.

Even if Dallas did give up a bit much for Spencer, they essentially traded down 4 spots, got a guy they wanted, and picked up a 1st rounder next year for a 3rd and 5th this year. Still a very good day for Dallas.
