CUBS are 7-6 when they score first in the game.... 0-7 when they don't

Wow. I guess that makes watching the games much easier...Brewers score first, turn the game off...its over.

I predict! We lose the game on someone slipping and falling in a crucial play.

On the Postive side...The game could be rained out.

Any word on today's pathetic excuse for a line up?

Soriano LF

Theriot SS

Lee 1B

Ramirez 3B

Barrett C

Murton RF

Pie CF

DeRosa 2B

Lilly

(odds of this happening...100-1)

I'm starting to lose my patience on Lou. It's unforgivable the fact that Theriot has sat two games while he keeps troting out Izturis and Jones consistently.

We need a spark and Riot is the man for that. If it can come in the form of replacing Izturis, I'd hang on to the littlest hope I have left in me.

And for the love of Jesus Christ, Murton better be in today in place of anyone else he's been 'stuck' behind.

Theriot should be playing everyday until he proves otherwise.

Lou said that yesterday's lineup would be the one he would stick with for a few days-I think you'll be disappointed.

I'll give them credit...yesterday they did get an awful lot of hits...its hard to get that many hits and have so little to show for it.

Not really. They only had two walks.

This team's problem is walks, they walk too many and don't walk enough.

By the way...

Colorado 8 13
Chicago Cubs 7 13
Kansas City 6 14
Washington 6 14

What was the name of the standings we posted last year in the race for the #1 pick?

Theriot SS and leadoff. Soriano is off today probably because of the slippery OF.

There you go everybody. Even if Lou does not plan this as a regular move, this was a great day to try it. Day game after a night game, and one pitcher that is one of the worst in the league for Izturis to hit. So you sit him and try Theriot and see how he does there. Before last night's lineups were announced when everyone was clamoring for Theriot I was already thinking that with Izturis's numbers against Sheets that this would be the day to do it.

How did this take a life of its own? The above lineup is NOT the official lineup. Is it?
