Huh, I thought Cedeno sucked? Shocking he'd do well when he gets a lot of ABs.

A lot of AB's? You mean him starting? Most of his AB's this year have been starts.

GET RID OF RONNIE!! HE'S A BUM!

One good game doesn't change the fact that he went 1 for 20 previously.

Ah, but that "1" was a homer too. ;)

Yeah but still. He's gotta show some consistancy. And I don't mean 1 HR per 20 AB.

Where are these guys getting this information?

Lou "When Soriano comes back he wants him to be in LF". Does this mean Pie will get an extended stay?

There's an article on Cubs.com about it. Pie will more than likely stay in CF. It's the right move.

So if Cedeno gets a hit, it'll always turn out good since his only 3 hits this year have all been XBHs. If only he could actually make more contact.

why not just let marquis hit for himself?

5 run lead and Ward needs to stay sharp too

to "stay" there would suggest that a person was currently sharp.

Besides the fact that it creates another black hole in our offense?

He had 534 at-bats last year and hit .245 with and OBP under .300. Yeah, he's great.

Cesar Izturis has one at-bat against a lefty this year, which means Ronny has been getting the bulk of plate appearances vs lefties.

That's very stupid on Lou's part because Ronny hits righties better than lefties.
