wow, our lineup is quite poor looking today.

 

R. Theriot 2b .333

C. Floyd lf .306

D. Lee 1b .375

A. Ramirez 3b .356

M. DeRosa rf .244

J. Jones cf .255

H. Blanco c .167

C. Izturis ss .195

T. Lilly p

 

we have 4 automatic outs to round out the order. why lou, why. why is pie sitting, he needs as much experience as possible.

Wow his insistence of keeping Jones and Floyd way apart points out a problem with our team. Jones and Floyd are similar hitters with the same weaknesses. Wonder why no Murton after his solid night last night. Seems to be something he could build on. I dont have a problem with Pie sitting though. He needs to sit some.

Multiple issues

 

Day game after night game. 1st day back after a road trip. 2nd flight in 2 nights.

 

2 day series screw with players' rest. Felix came up from Iowa on Tuesday, debuted in the majors. Flew to Atlanta and played twice, then flew back to Chicago 2 days later. He's had a whirlwind tour. Barret resting is only par for the course.

 

I don't like the lineup. But it's not like it's a forfeit lineup.

pretty much what i was thinking. it's far from the lineup that featured bynum, neifi, and pagan in the same game.

Outside of that Tampa Bay experiment, I think our manager has done quite well over his career. That's hardly the problem.
