personally i think guzman could have gone 7 and we wouldnt have had to use any of our crappy bullpen. the only speedbump he had all day was that 4th inning, where until then had not allowed a base runner. if im not mistaken, im pretty sure he retired the first 10 batters of the game, correct?

i wish we could have kept him, ship out murton, no need for floyd, then we could put hamilton in either CF or RF and same for jones.

in that draft we got prior, i thought it was a total steal because the twins were so dumb for passing him up, and now i kick myself realizing what we could have had in joe mauer.

i hate both roger clemens and the yankees more than anything. 1. the yankees ruin the game for the fans because they have to pay for this BS. and 2. i hate clemens because he is going to be getting 28 MILLION DOLLARS. and he came 1 month late. he is a bum, old man, and i hate him. i hope he gets injured and is forced to retire.

i have no problem with keeping jones, he is improving in the field and i'm liking his bat lately. and in my opinion, i really liked murton, and i know he isnt getting enough playing time but i dont see him as a good everyday player. i think he is expendable

ok guys, is it just me or does it seem like lou sort of wastes his bench too quickly in close games. it seems like there are at least 1 double switch or 2 per game. and if u think about it, we used ALL of our players except the starters and rocky cherry in that game yesterday. we are 1-3 in extra inning games and i think lou needs to be a little more conservative with the moves he is making. but they are winning so i cant complain

Cards pitcher chris carpenter will undergo surgery and will be out 3 months. very good news here.

Does anyone know of a site that compares team stats such as total rbi's, hr's, hits, etc. just wondering because in yesterdays game len mentioned how the cubs are leading the league in doubles, so i wanted to check out stats and see how the cubs compared to the rest of the league

good, those things are way too dangerous. if they havent already they should ban them from the NCAA as well. i was hit with one when i was a kid, pitching. luckily it only his me in the leg because the way it was moving, it could have easily killed me had it hit me in the head

release him, he's a pile. bring guzman back up, plug him in as the 5th starter because he absolutely sucks.
