Say if we were to keep Pie when Soriano comes back do you guys think Lou bats him 2nd or 7th?

most likely 7th. Lou values the 2nd spot alot, and im not convinced nor am I that Pie won't struggle to get on base, which would hurt the team alot. However the flipside is at the 7th spot, he won't see many good pitches, which might hurt his development.

I agree with both of you

wow, an actual comeback. who would've thunk it.

They'll blow it in the playoffs. They will. They'll blow it in the playoffs.

How absurdly optimistic this man is.

There is no chance these Cubs make the playoffs.

I asked earlier but nobody answers so here goes again...

I'm assuming we saw inconsistent and wild Z judging by his line?

yeah, the D bailed him out 2 or 3 times. Z did bounce back at the end of innings, but it easily could have been a double digit number on the braves side.

Yeah but he got a bit better later in the game.

Yea, it wasn't pretty. He was working out of jams pretty much the entire game, except for the first inning when he game up a 3-run homer to Francouer rather than work out of it.

Now if the Bulls win and Dempster gets me a save, that'll make my day.

Ditto!

Didn't Demp pitch 2 innings yesterday - do they bring him out in the 9th if we still have the lead?

I expect they'll try to get by on Eyre and Ohman if possible. I hear Ohman is good at coming in and shutting them down, so he'd be good for the 9th.
