Marmol and Taylor. Much better than the last two days.

I thought they were going to make Marmol into a bullpen guy/closer?

Guess not

That was the plan, but with Marshall and Mateo in EXT, Marmol was forced into the rotation. I have no problem with that - even if he ends up as a reliever or closer, he really could use all the innings he can get. I'd love it if he was starting even after Marshall and Mateo are back in Iowa.

How about Marshall, Mateo & Prior, though? ;)

Good outing for Holliman.

6 IP, 4 hits, no runs, 7 Ks/1 BB

Tennessee is scoreless in the bottom of the 7th though. The Smokies have only three hits in the game; one each by Cates, Kroeger, and Salas. Fox is 0/3 and Dope is 0/2 with two strikeouts.

I wonder if Dope is starting to press due to his lack of power so far? Early on he was doing really well but was pretty much hitting all singles.

Is striking out the side in the 2nd good enough for you? Of course, he also gave up a single and a walk.

Peoria up 1-0 on doubles by Carter and Lewis.

Daytona still leads it 3-2 after 7 innings. Daytona hasn't gotten a hit since the first inning.

There ya go, Rafael. Peoria got another run in the 3rd to lead it 2-0.

Chiefs' 5th Inning

Infield Single, sounds like Camp muffed it

Throwing Error on the Pickoff Attempt, Runner to Third

Popup to SS

Four Pitch BB

Batter swings at a WP, runner scores

Flyout to CF

Popup to 3B

That should be it for Dolis. Chiefs lead 2-1.

Where's Otis89 with his obligatory "go me" post? :D

I need to get in gear. I didn't look at this forum much at all over the offseason. I still forget to check it.
