As Rocket mentioned in the game thread, Dunn hit a homer that bounced off Nady's glove in the outfield and over the fence for a homer

Reds lead the Pirates 3-2 in the bottom of the 2nd.

Elsewhere, Igawa is making his first start today and is getting hit pretty hard. Markakis hit a solo homer in the first and now Igawa has given up four more in the 2nd. 5-2 Orioles.

I still don't understand why the Yankees picked him up. He didn't look like anything special coming out of Japan.

ARod just won the game with a walkoff grand slam in the bottom of the 9th.

What a loser, he can only do that in April.

Yeah, talk to me in October and not during these meaningless early games.

It is just impossible to watch a nationally televised Twins game, especially with a clown like Brenneman. The number of tired old cliche's being used is just ridiculous.

However, it makes it very possible to watch a nationally televised White Sox game because i don't have to listen to hawk and dj

Juan Uribe continues to totally plaster any stats he ever put up in Colorado. How'd he become an above average hitting SS for the Sox?

2-0 Sox lead Minnesota.

3-0 Sox. For the 2nd time in 3 days, the Sox' opponent's pitcher tosses the ball into center field while pointlessly trying to pick a runner off 2nd base.

Can't make this stuff up.

I took Igawa out of my starting lineup so that I could put a couple of relievers in, but I forgot to put him back in for his start today. I guess some mistakes turn out good.

Mets had the tying run on second, but Shawn Green hit it right on the button, right at Craig Wilson to end the game.

If David Wright was still on 1st, that ball would've been through easily and probably for a double.

The Astros just scored to get on the board first in the bottom of the first. I also just noticed that the foul pole down the LF line is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Chick-fil-a sponsors it, and instead of saying "Eat More Chikin," the foul pole now reads "Eat More Fowl".

Today made me really happy I didn't leave near Baltimore long enough to become an Orioles fan.

Yeah, you're fortunate. I grew up near Baltimore, so I'm stuck.

Sosa is in the lineup for the Rangers tonight, he is DHing and hitting 5th. The Red Sox got one run in the top of the first on a Drew single off of Millwood.

Sammy struck out looking, Julian Tavares retired the first 5 batters of the game. Since then he's allowed a walk and a single.
