I'm sick of having to root through 20 pages to find my team
You shouldn't have to. If you're logged in it will show your score on the first page. It shows the top scores, then you and those around you, and finally the bottom scores.

Doesn't show that for me, just the top and the bottom.

BalsaWoodKeyboard is now #10 overall.

I also see just the top 10 and the bottom 5

That's strange, because for me it shows my score (bolded) and those right around me between the top 10 and bottom 5. It then shows the top 10 and bottom 5 MLB players. Are you sure you're logged in when checking?

Yes. Do you have a pay BP subscription?

No, just the basic.

I've got just the regular BP subscription, and my team's scores is bolded on the on the main page as well. If that's not working for you, then you could always just bookmark the link to your team's page because your ranking is listed there too.

BTW, in other news, the Rangers just signed Mark Redman!!! :D

Now I just have to hope someone picks up Sidney Ponson.

I've really tumbled, from #35 to #588. Weaver and Ortiz got injured and stopped giving me big point totals and Dmitri Young is killing me. Also, I'm not getting the expected suckage from Podsednik since he's been injured most of the year. At least all of my players are actually playing in the majors, unlike my team last year.

Has anybody checked lately and noticed who's number 1 among major league players in terms of hghest ESPN? None other than one Jason Kendall.

I saw that. My Brad Ausmus is jealous.

And now I'm down to #49. Mainly because of the productivity of Mark Loretta, Scott Podsednik, and Jose Guillen.

That, and my pitchers have exited stage right. Should have gone with Weaver, just didn't think he'd stick that long.

Jamey Wright has been too injured, and not bad enough when he's been healthy.

Wandy Rodriguez has, against all odds, turned into a decent pitcher.

Randy Winn has somehow managed to improve at age 33.

I really shoulda stuck with Juan Pierre over Willy Taveres.

Pods is killing almost everyone by not playing enough.

Adam Everett was having a monster year, but he got hurt.

Geoff Blum hasn't gotten as much PT as I'd hoped.

Jose Lopez and Rich Aurilia have been solid picks... especially Aurilia, who's #2 to Nomar in ESPN.

I've fallen to #614. Dmitri Young is killing me; an All-Star on a Hacking Mass team isn't good.

I think 1B is really the most challenging position. Since it's where a lot of teams put good hitters that can't play anywhere else, most teams have at least a decent 1B, so it's hard to find one that sucks enough to be a good Hacking Mass choice yet still gets the playing time needed.

Sean Casey begs to differ. He's only worth 18 this year, but you knew darn well going in that you had nothing to be worried about with him.

Back up #26!

Nick Punto and Juan Pierre are carrying my team. Especially Jose Guillen, who's decided to be productive and Podsednik who can't stay healthy.

pods doesn't really hurt because EVERYONE has him on their team. It's like Brad Ausmus; doesn't really matter what they do because everyone's fortunes are tied to them.

Time to post final results. I rebounded a bit to #466 with 353 ESPN.

The Cubs blew a golden opportunity to have the player with the most ESPN two years in a row. Ronny Cedeno was #1 last year, and at one point Jason Kendall was #1 this year. He slipped to #4 at the end. Nick Punto lapped the field; the difference between him and #2 was more than the difference between #2 and #10. The "worst" Hacking Mass player was Arod, followed by Big Papi.

Are these finalized? Balsa finished 52nd. I can't remember my sign in name.

Is that a board high? Do I get a trophy?

My secret was Punto by far.

The player that really brought me down was Jose Guillen, who actually had a productive year.

Pitching is definitely the hardest. Both Redman and Ponson sucked so badly to start with that they were cut. You really need to find a measure of sucktitude just small enough to keep playing, or a basement dweller.
