interesting batting Theriot ninth to get someone on in front of Soriano. I like it.

At least with Lou's line up you know there is always a reason for the order.

Cousteau batting 2nd against a lefty? Lou should know better.

I don't understand why Jones would bat second with Murton in the lineup.

It's ST. He's just tinkering, trying things out.

AKA, wasting time. All he has to do is look at Cousteau's splits to know this. I'd rather he try out The Riot batting 2nd if he wants to see how the Big Murt does in the 5 hole.

What are you saying? Lou didn't fill out this lineup with Striped Bass, baitfish, and birds in mind?

I like this lineup. I like putting The Riot in front of Soriano. Fonz looked lost at the plate yesterday. If Theriot can have a good game and get on base, Soriano should see more pitches to hit and get his confidence back.

He is trying to split the two left-handers in the lineup-it wouldn't be a big deal except that neither of them can hit left-handers very well. You don't want two people who are like that batting back to back where you have to pinch-hit for at least one of them in the later innings.

Ok I said it the other day and he hit a 3 run homer..Cedeno is growing on me.

He's a different player then last year.

I think Dusty/Clines encouraged his bad tendencies. Cedeno has the ability to be a very good player if someone pushes consistency on defense and patience at the plate.

Cedeno was awesome for part of last year when he was consistently going to RF, racking up XBH. Then he started pulling everything (nice one, Clines!).
