'get a custom fitting. don't buy a driver for the name or off recommendation, unless it's recommendation by the guy who just gave you the custom fitting'

Guzman's stuff looked really, really good. I'm hoping he gets a chance at some stage this year

I wouldn't say his stuff has looked "really, really good". He throws hard and that's about it. When they hit him, they hit him pretty hard.

He's made some very nice adjustments to his mechanics as well as to his go-to pitch. He his getting them to miss more often than not now.

I still haven't seen many changeups from Guzman, which is supposed to be a plus pitch for him. Wonder why he's not throwing it very often.

Definitely get a custom driver. Try to go to a place that has a computer system that provides information on your swing speed, ball loft, etc. The shaft should be flexible for a slower swing and stiff for a faster swing. It will help tremendously to get the right one. There are plenty of good choices out there for the brand/type of driver. The Ping G5 is one of the best in my opinion, but really it's just a matter of preference.

Maybe they told him not to throw it to keep him healthy. Looks like he can make them miss without it.

A changeup is not hard on your arm. Not much different from a fastball except for the grip.

Not like a curve or slider that you have to "cut".

I highly doubt that is the reason.

Why not? It's that or he doesn't feel he needs to use it/is uncomfortable using it. Like I said, it doesn't look like he's missing a pitch. If we didn't know his previous scouting report it wouldn't be an issue.
