I was under the impression that there isn't a football-level strictness regarding those kinds of situations, especially when there's a split-second difference.

Rarely have we blown a large lead under Bruce. Plus, OSU is simply a better team than us, if they play they'll score. We just have to score more.

Not usually, but when looking at a clock situation like they were, it is strict like that where the whistle is the absolute end of the play.

This is ugly. We have to break out of this slump or OSU is going to put us in a very bad predicament. We just can't seem to get the tempo up to where we had it in the first half.

If you told Thad Matta before the game that with 12 minutes to play, that Greg Oden would have sat out a majority of the game and have 3 points and only 1 field goal attempt, he would be pretty happy only being down 4 points.
