I root for anything that can make my school look better-I was cheering for both Purdue and Illinois the last couple days, but I'm not cheering for Kentucky because people will not associate Kentucky being better with IU being better.

By the way, after a 5-1 first round for the Big 10, they went 1-4 in the second round.

 

To be fair, they were only favored to win 2 games in that round, against 3 in the first round(although 2 were 8-9).

That was completely expected. The only one who really played poorly throughout the tournament was Wisconsin (and somewhat Illinois). Purdue, Indiana, and Michigan State showed something by all winning their first round games and playing well in their second round games-they just happened to run into Florida, UCLA, and UNC respectively. I think the Big 10 showed with their performance that they did deserve all their bids and they were seeded correctly.

I root for all SEC teams in bowl games or the tournament except Florida. I can never, ever bring myself to root for them unless it direct and unquestionably helps Tennessee.

agreed and if we would have played basketball the last 5 minutes instead of keep away and prevent defense we would have really done well. We let the big ten down.
