If my seats are section 218, row 20, what kind of obstructions will I have in my view?

Ronnie Woo-Woo?

Section 218 looks pretty good to me.

Are they 3 digit numbers or 1 digit numbers?

218-3

the seats, i meant.

i'm fairly sure 3 digit seats are on the right side of a section and one digit seats are on the left side.

Someone back me up on this one.

These are section 218-3, row 20 seats 7-10

The poles are in row 7, so you're behind them....

still trying to figure out where that specific pole is, and which side your seats are on

I think I had it backwards. Triple digits are on the left of the aisle, single digits are right. This means you're on the right side of the section.

This is a picture of section 218:

Looks like that pole is toward the left of the section in row 7. My guess is you've got a pole to deal with. However, it's 13 rows in front of you, so it shouldn't take up too much of your view.

I got those backwards directionwise last time (although it's correct if you're walking down the aisle instead of up), but my comment on the pole location still stands.

Since the side the 3 vs 1 digit numbers are on depends on whether you're walking up or down an aisle, I'll state it this way:

Single digits are on the left side of a section, triple digits are on the right side of a section (as you face the field).

Hypothetically, if you have bad seats, like.. right behind a pole.. is it possible to just go to the bleachers without anyone stopping you? I know there's a path connecting it all.

I had to deal with a pole two rows in front of me that blocked the pitchers mound. Which, on any other day I probably could have just ignored and watched the batter, except Roger Clemens was pitching. But, lucky for me, Old Style heals sore necks in no time.

Nope. There's ushers that check to see if you've got bleacher tickets at the bleacher entrances from the main stands.

I remember one game a couple years ago when I watched a kid and his dad walk up the aisle all excited and then they got to their seats and their excitement just drained away. One of their seats was directly behind a pole - I mean, like 18 inches behind it!

The poor guy had to sit at a 45-degree angle the whole game just to see around the pole. I felt terrible for the guy, and I just don't understand why they had a seat there. (Besides the obvious reason, that someone will buy it not knowing that they won't be able to see)
