Wise old guy praises Pie for his break on the ball, even if he didn't get to it.

 

Edit: So it sounds like Pie played it perfectly.

so, i just woke up...how did Miller look?

 

He was crafty--getting into and out of trouble.

crafty huh? any report on his velocity?

so, i just woke up...how did Miller look?

 

He was crafty--getting into and out of trouble.

It was probably too low to register on the gun.

I didn't hear anything about his velocity... He was definitely crafty because his stuff really wasn't fooling hitters but he managed to escape a few jams.

funny, when i first tuned into the game on XM, i thought it was a Cubs broadcast cause of Andy Mazer...nice to see him getting a chance to do more
