Reds Sign Dustin Hermanson

I saw on a reliable Reds message board (Reds Zone) that it was announced on the Reds broadcast that Dustin Hermanson had signed a minor league deal with the Reds and will report on Monday.

 

How many bullpen arms are the Reds going to accumulate?

they are going to drive in runs with their relief pitchers, much like izturiz drives in runs with his glove.

Their plan is really quite genius. If they get all the relief pitchers then when the opposing team's starter gets tired they'll just have to forfeit. I'm actually surprised nobody's thought of this sooner.

If he's a pitcher and his arm is still atached, the Red will take him.

What the Reds are doing reminds me of a fantasy owner that screws up the league by snatching all of the talent at a specific position. I don't think it happens very often, but I've heard of it happening occasionally.
