Rams just signed TE Randy McMichael. The offense is freaking loaded.

Hopefully they address the D-Line because scoring points wasn't our problem last year.

I think that depends on the development of Barron. They still have Pace, and young guys like Incogneto and Setterstrom stepped in and did good last year. Barron still takes a ton of Falst start penalties, if he can work on that I think they will have a decent O-Line. Not one of the best in the league but adequate.

I disagree. I think it could be one of the best in the league. After the injuries when they settled in, they were very, very good.

Oh I think that they have a chance to be very very good if Barron, Setterstrom and Incogneto all keep improving. I just think that they are young and will still have a few hiccups next year. The next few years after though I think they will be a great O-Line.

BTW, the word is that Dre Bly is unhappy in Denver and that they are entertaining trade talks for him-reported by Michael Smith.

How is he unhappy in Denver already????

he isn't, just stupid rampant uninformed speculation by the media and irresponsible journalism.

That quote makes me more sure that he is unhappy in Denver, not less-that was not exactly a glowing statement saying that he wanted to be there.

Seahawks released DE Grant Wistrom.

"You can't help but think that the Seahawks replaced one overpaid free agent mistake at defensive end with another in Patrick Kerney. Wistrom got $14 million guaranteed three years ago ,but struggled to stay healthy. He can still help a team, but may not be a starter. The Seahawks will count Wistrom as a "June 2nd" cut to spread out his cap hit. Bryce Fisher and Darrell Tapp are slated to play opposite Kerney. "

Somebody mentioned Winstom earlier in this thread i think.

Well now that McMichael is gone, the Pack better sign Jerramy Stevens. The only reason why I want Stevens is because he seriously can't be worse than Bubba Franks/Donald Lee.

If we do sign Stevens, I'll go out on a limb and say that our TE combo will lead the league in drops.

Can someone with more knowledge of the STL Rams, tell me why they signed Randy McMichael? Didnt they draft Dom Bryd and Tony "Mustang" Scheiffler last year?

I don't know who Tony "Mustang" Scheiffler is, maybe you're referring to Joe Klopfenstein? Byrd was recently arrested for suspicion of DUI and is also facing charges of assault and armed criminal action after a nightclub fight in downtown St. Louis. He only had 2 catches last year, and is listed 3rd on their depth chart. Klopfenstein seemed pretty good to me as a rookie from what I saw, but McMichael is a proven pass-catching TE that justs adds another dimension to the Rams' dangerous offense. Maybe they're going to run a 2-TE system some this year?

Sorry I got my 2nd round TE mixed up. I meant Joe Klopfenstein, Tony Scheffler is the TE for the Broncos.

Klop looked good at times, but needs some developing. Linehan has some history with the dual TE sets. The Rams also had red zone troubles passing, so Bennett and McMichael vastly improve that.

The offense is looking like a freaking juggernaut, but as is obvious, the offense wasn't the problem.

In other words, he's destined to become a Bengal. :D

Well, the first Colt player to leave-Dominic Rhodes has gotten his payday that he wanted. 2 years, 7.5 million. The team? Good luck Dominic-you just went from the Colts to the Raiders. :D

That sound you hear? It's the cash being made off Addai rookie cards.

So what? He never has to play a game at home in the cold either way, during the offseason he can live anywhere he wants, and during the season he's going to be miserable anyway playing for Oakland, no matter what the weather is like :D.

Yeah, that's what I meant even though I said the opposite.

I'm not at all-I wish him the best of luck, and I hope he does well there-I was more laughing at the absolute ineptitude of the Raiders last year.

Interestingly both Super Bowl teams have similar running back situations, the veteran starter leaving (by trade for the Bears and free agency for the Colts), leaving the youngsters (Benson and Addai) with the jobs full-time.
