The ESPN poll is "who is your Super Bowl MVP?", and the options were Manning, Addai, Rhodes and Colts' defense.

Most of the nation picked Manning except:

-New England - they really hate Manning apparently, so they went with Rhodes

-Wisconsin - they also went with Rhodes, no idea why, though it is really close between Rhodes and Manning

-Iowa - picked Colts defense (they love their Bob Sanders)

-Indiana - tie between Rhodes and Manning

-Louisiana - picked Joseph Addai (LSU)

Funny how homerism and college loyalties even affect this.

did you see this, Chris:

Listed on eBay for $9,999.99

Wow!!!!

ha ha, absurd. The bad thing about checking ebay is that it's going to be tough to filter out all of the auctions like that. I'm planning to buy teh ticket stubs from all of the Colt playoff games and a SB stub. I'm thinking that would look pretty sweet framed.

I was laughing about that as well.

I blame the refs. Considering the conditions, there was NO reason not to cancel the game upon conclusion of the opening play. It waas so dangerous and they put all the players in harm's way.

the saints want a do-over from last week, too

I think either of teh running backs deserved the MVP over Manning.

Well. We prepared for this game like crap. All week long I got the impression the Bears were just glad to be here.

Grossman played like *&^#. Two botched snaps? That should never happen. Ever. Much less in the SB.

The OL blocked like crap for 90% of the game. Benson getting hurt killed our running game, but that's just how it goes.

Hester is the man. Good game dude. Sorry your teammates were too busy dinking around in the media circus to prepare for this game.

We blew assignment after assignment and tackle after tackle.

Indy is good, but they're not that good.

They're the best team in the world.

No, they're the winner of the SB, not the best team in football, much less the best team in the world.

If that game is played on grass, Bears win. That may sound like sour grapes, but it's true. How about we actually have the SB in football conditions instead of a vacation destination.

The Bear's were simply out of their league. The Colts didn't play their best football, and still beat the Bears, the Bears would have lost to NE, SD, Bal, or Indy. SIMPLE.

sweet, i love when random people repeat what they hear on espn on the internet and act like its a unique thought

What? I don't need ESPN or the internet to tell me what to think. The Bears couldn't have beaten New England, Baltimore, or San Diego, or Indianapolis, and that blantantly obvious. You make it seems as though Indy, came and played their best game. When the fact remains, They played shaky as well.

As bad as the Bears played tonight, they were still in the game fairly late. If they had played well tonight they would have beaten Indy. I think that's blantantly obvious.

And NE, Baltimore, and SD didn't make it to the Super Bowl so there's no point in bringing them up.

Bears played a bad game tonight, Colts get a deserved win and a Super Bowl Championship. I think we can leave it at that.

Their O-line was probably the most impressive.

The Iowa one is funniest. It said "Colts defense" not "Bob Sanders", but that didn't stop Iowa people from voting for the defense. I'm sure if they could write in Dallas Clark, they'd do so.

Moot point. Different teams, different players, different coaches, different game plan.

this is depressing. I was thinking that one of my teams would finally do it. If not the Bears, I have to count on the Cubs or Blackhawks. yeah, that'll happen soon. i hate you sports.

I'm going to leave robbie in my avatar for one more week (pro bowl mojo), then i have to see if a Cub can get the same rub that Robbie got from the high profile position in my avatar.
How about Prior? Maybe that would help him stay healthy and return to form. :D

Clark and Sanders are 2 of the biggest difference makers with the Super Bowl champions. It's a bittersweet day for a lot of Eastern Iowa.

I've run into Manning twice in bars around Indy, and he wasn't a jerk either time. He didn't buy me a drink or invite me to hang with him and his party, but I still don't think that makes him a jerk.

I used to have lunch nearly everyday with Eli and a couple of my good friends who were on the football team all the time at the athletic facility at Ole Miss. Eli is a very quiet guy who is very humble. I've also met Peyton and the rest of the Manning family numerous times. Their family has a cabin down from mine at the Neshoba County fair (basically a 3 day drunk fest in rural Mississippi). Peyton is nice and is remarkably humble. I think everyone would be surprised.

You could make a very legitimate case for all three. Addai had more yards (receiving and rushing) than Rhodes did but Rhodes got a TD and Addai didn't. Manning had a solid game but he wasn't great tonight. I think they gave it to him because he's the QB. But I wouldn't have had a problem with either of the three winning it and would have actually preferred Addai because before the game he was my pick for MVP.

HAH! Outstanding! Peyton is pretty ugly too. Lots of rednecks there, but mostly rich rednecks. Those cabins are pricey.

If you like 6’ 5”, 230 pound quarterbacks with a laser rocket arm.

He's pretty good.

Hopefully we'll see some new commercials in the offseason.
