Nick Harper is going to be held out of practice this week and then re-evaluated. If he can't go, he'll be replaced in the lineup by Marlin Jackson, which will make Kelvin Hayden (the corner Brady sort of picked on) coming into the game as the nickel corner.

How is Bob Sanders?

Can we kill him somehow?

No, you may not, and his knee appears to be just fine :D.

I wish I could go to a Jerry Azumah pre-Super Bowl party in Miami.

Poor Zoom deserves a ring if the Bears end up winning the Superbowl. Its a shame what happened with him.

He's a lot of fun to watch on the Comcast broadcasts. I love all the hysterical fashion stuff between him and the players.

Colts/Patriots on NFL Replay.

Since I didn't get to see but the 4th quarter, this is fun to watch.

Both championship games are scheduled to be aired several times over the upcoming days. Since I'm a fan of both teams I definitely plan to watch both replays, even though I saw the games live.

I personally feel the Colts and the Bears are both very deserving of being in the Super Bowl.
Definitely. They were clearly the best teams in the league the first half of the season, being the last two teams in the league to lose. Both slipped a bit in the second half (the Colts a bit more so), but they both put it back together when it came down to crunch time. I can't wait for this game. For once I'll actually be more interested in the game than the commercials. :D

Possibly a stupid question, but here goes anyways. The statement about commercials above got me to wondering about commercials. Will commercials be at intervals we are used to during the Super Bowl or will there be timed commercial breaks regardless of whether there is a change of possession/time out or not?

Poll on ESPN.com right now:

Who is the worst Superbowl quarterback ever?

- Trent Dilfer

- Tony Eason

- Vince Ferragamo

- Rex Grossman

- David Woodley

Grossman is actually winning (which is completely ridiculous). Only been 39,000 votes, but he has a third of them.

Honestly, I would LOVE to see Rex have the game of his life. If he somehow threw for like 400 yards, I would probably pass out from laughing so hard. I know it probably won't happen, but damn, leave the guy alone.

I love how the only difference between this years team and last years team is Rex Grossman starting 16 games. Guess what: We win homefield advantage, start blowing out teams instead of slipping past them, and we go to the Super Bowl. Heck, our defense played a bit worse than last year, and we still do it.

Its absurd how much flak this guy gets. Especially since he's what, 26?

yeah I so want Rex to have a monster game, and get the MVP. Then in the post game conference just hold up a middle finger and walk off.

Right after saying, "I'm going to bleeping Disney World!!!"

It will be at intervals we are used to during the game-the TV timeouts will probably be longer than usual, but that's the only difference.

BTW, I expect CBS to announce-"We're going to try something different with the commercials tonight, as one sponser has bought every commercial slot! Here is the first comercial"....."This is my country" :D

So Colts fans, why is Peyton refusing to comment on his injured thumb?

I can't decide if he wants to downplay the importance of it (Peyton has never wanted to talk about his injuries when he has had them, of course they've never been serious enough for him to miss a single game in his career) or just a little bit of gamesmanship. I think it's the former, but I can't be sure.

He obviously was able to throw after the injury took place. So I'm like you, just a little confused about it. I don't think he'd be out of line just saying "it's fine."

He bowls on Thursday nights. He doesn't want to tip the other team as to whether or not he will be there. Eli is a better bowler and since he is town Peyton may try sneak little brother in as a sub.

I wasn't aware that Peyton told Sorgi to "be ready" until I watched the NFL Replay last night. Since he was able to continue in the AFC Championship, I don't think it's a big deal.

Anyone else think Sorgi wet his pants when Peyton said that to him? That guy has the greatest job in the world. He doesn't have to do anything.

He pretty much had to continue in the AFC Championship game. But, all during that time, he kept working the thumb to avoid it tightening/swelling up. It is when you quit working it that it tightens up and causes a problem.

But, with nothing showing up on x-ray and 2 weeks to heal, he'll probably be fine. Whether he'll still be fine the first time he gets hit hard is another question.

It's unbelievable... Look at the names on that list. It's ridiculous. Yet, some people would still have you think that there is no national media bias against the Bears.

What a ridiculous poll. Grossman hasn't even played in the Super Bowl yet. Let's see how he does before we make him into the worst SB QB ever.

X-Rays don't show much in terms of ligaments and tendons though. I'm going off the fact he continued afterwards, and played well. Things can be done to reduce swelling and pain just for the duration of one game.

Honestly, if the Bears can't get some pressure on this guy I think we're in trouble. I do think the Bears offense can do a few things, but that defense will need to at least limit the Colts to a dull roar.
