Didn't some psychopathic writer claim that Minky was such a great defensive first baseman that he could also play...SECOND BASE?!?!!?!!!!

 

He actually started a game at second base for the Red Sox back in 2004.

I think he still owns that baseball that was the last out in their World Series Victory, right? He could get a lot of money from George for that ball - and they could destroy it like the Bartman ball, no?

Actually, I think the HOF has the ball in question, or atleast check they were negotiating with Mintkiewicz for the ball. Besides I doubt Mintkiewicz would burn his bridges in Boston by selling the ball to Steinbrenner.

he's right...there's not too many first basemen who could save two or three runs per game. zero is not very many.
