I didn't hear any of the national talking heads pick Florida.

I just wonder if this will hurt or help the argument for a playoff.

Not like we'll get one anyway, though.

Lee Corso picked Florida before the game. I think Mark May did as well.

Louisville would have at least 50 right now

Go ahead with your Big East jabs but this game is hurting the Big 10 just at least as much (if not more) as it's helping the SEC.

The hell if I care, I'm a Penn State fan, not a Big Ten fan. I'd prefer if Michigan and Ohio State could lose their bowl games by 100 points each.

Yeah and thats why i dont really mind seeing OSU blow their NC. I hear more from them than i do people about the big ten this or big east this or boise state conference that.

IMHO, the Big 10 appeared to be strong because of a weak out-of-conference schedule and terrible depth in the conference.

look at the teams out of conference schedules before you say stuff like this please. your are def wrong.

Big 10 O-O-C Games (Sagarin Rankings)

OSU v. 18 Texas

OSU v. 40 Cincy

OSU v. 84 N. Illinois

OSU v. 139 BGU

PSU v. 106 Akron

PSU v. 13 Notre Dame

PSU v. 70 Youngstown State

PSU v. 165 Temple

UM v. 13 Notre Dame

UM v. 65 Vandy

UM v. 62 Central Michigan

UM v. 93 Ball State

Wisc v. 139 BGU

Wisc v. 157 W. Illinois

Wisc. v. 120 SDSU

Wisc. v. 149 Buffalo

Those are just the top 4 Big Ten teams schedules, but I would say those OOC schedules blow. You are the one who is "def" wrong. By the way, the Big 10's strength of schedule for OOC games was 9th of the 11 major conferences. http://www.andersonsports.com/football/ACF_frnk.html

ha ha, oops

Oh.

I didn't watch the pregame.

I think he meant talking heads that had already been removed from their asses

dont be such a tool. he said tosu only played other big ten teams. they beat texas when texas was #2. he said UM only beat big 10 teams. they beat ND. Way to prove me wrong on something I wasn't arguing about. Next time maybe post something relevent to what is being discussed, okay?

Penn state played a bad OOC schedule? Who cares. They weren't being discussed. Maybe you should have posted Vanderbilt's OOC schedule too.

I dont mind seeing OSU fans suffer but i dont like seeing little kids being crying. i do have some heart.

It's Fox. What do you expect? 15% of their broadcasts consist of closeups of individuals in the crowd, often sad.

SO thats why i hate it when the Cubs are on Fox so much.

I mean no dis-respect to the Big 10 fans, but IMO this is a shining example of how bad the Big 10 was this year.

All said and done, OSU only played Michigan on the way to that unbeaten regular season. And who did Michigan play? OSU and Wisconsin. Who did Wisconsin play? Michigan.

IMHO, the Big 10 appeared to be strong because of a weak out-of-conference schedule and terrible depth in the conference.

Who's out of conference schedules? OSU played aganist Texas, and Texas isn't a top 10 team in my view. Michigan destroyed ND, that ND should not even belong in the top 15. When Michigan and OSU played aganist each other, it was a close score, yet when Michigan played SC, they got owned.

completely meaningless analysis.

How is it meaningless? Texas isn't a good football team. They lost to Ohio St, Texas A&M, and K-State. Iowa could had beat them as well.

Don't get me started on ND. They are NOT a top 10 team.

drawing conclusions about who the best teams are that way is meaningless. that's why there has to be a playoff and there has to be more than four teams.

if Florida beats OSU by more than 40, my sobbing friend in the living room has to sleep in the tent outside tonight :)

If McCoy was healthy all year Texas would be in the top 10. Would have probably won the Big12.

Breaking news - pretty much every conference plays easy out of conference schedules. Welcome to major college football.

Im not a Texas fan but they wouldnt have lost to KState and Texas AM if Mccoy wasnt hurt. Would have easiely been a top 5 team and in a BCS game.

When Tebow is in the game, put 9 guys in the box. Why does this not happen?

He does this.

Yeah so at least that forced someone to make a tough catch in the back of the end zone. Better than just letting him walk in for a touchdown or run for 8 yards, which is what usually happens when he's in the game.

I responded EXACTLY to what you said. You made a garbled, barely coherent response to this quote: "IMHO, the Big 10 appeared to be strong because of a weak out-of-conference schedule and terrible depth in the conference" You said look at the "teams out of conference schedules"---not just Ohio State. Just because "your are def wrong" in the case, it doesn't make me a tool for posting an accurate and "relevant" response.
