I would guess Price, since most colleges pitch their ace on Friday night when there is a weekend series, and Price last pitched on the 18th.

went to the vandy game yesterday afternoon, it was a bit chilly but a good time was had....price didn't throw too well but still struck out 10 over 5 2/3 innings...he was behind in the count to just about every batter and seemed to be getting squeezed at times...vandy fell behind early but came back to win the game 4-3 to improve to 8-0...they play ball state today at 1 in the music city classic but it's looking like it may get rained out.

I'm curious as to how many scouts were there?

just by looking through the crowd for people jotting down notes i counted 28, heh....i also sat out front before the game waiting for my girl to show and counted 20+ going through the pass gate...so my number is probably pretty dead on....so i'm guessing that just about every big league club had a scout present.

South Carolina is up 8-0 on Clemson in the top of the 7th. They've had 2 3-run HRs. Smoak had an RBI 2B in the 1st.

And Smoak just added a 2-run HR of his own. 10-0! Demoralize Clemson, please.

Hey Slugger, how bout that whippin today? I'd say 12-0 and only giving up 2 hits serves as demoralization. Go [expletive]!

Well that number should start dropping soon, because he'll be a high pick if not #1 so most of the clubs know they wont have a chance to get him!

well, there was a game after theirs....it was during the music city classic so there were a few teams in town...boston college, ball state and pittsburgh...i don't know enough about the other teams to tell you if they have any real talent though.

It is Nick Schmidt versus David Price tonight!

Last time Price faced the Razorbacks he struck out 17 of them. His 2006 season went down the crapper after that game.

What a letdown. Bummer

Mississippi St. beat second ranked South Carolina 6-5 to even up that series. MSU improved to 14-5 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

The Gamecocks took the series and are the new number 1 in College Baseball per Baseball America. Go [expletive]!

Wow that play at first between LaPorta and Crisp was awesome. I sure and heck wouldn't want to be bodyslammed by LaPorta.

And if the ump didn't blow the call, SC could have the lead right now.
