Schmidt, Lieberthal, and now Gonzalez!

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- The Dodgers have come to an agreement with outfielder Luis Gonzalez on a one-year deal worth $7 million for the 2007 season, MLB.com has learned.

Wow, Pierre and Gonzalez blocking Ethier, Kemp and Loney. Just wow.

 

Kemp and Loney, at least. Everything I have read says the OF will be Gonzo/Pierre/Ethier. That is a mediocre OF, at best. Coletti is a fool.

At this point, I wouldn't be shocked to see an outfield of Repko, Pierre and Gonzalez. I'm going to really crack up laughing if Lieberthal steals all of Martin's at bats as well.

Third base coaches for Dodgers' opponents will have nothing to do with Gonzalez and Pierre in the outfield. They might as well just put up a green light at third base.
