That was a nice tackle by Tillman.

However, his coverage is frequently lackluster. And, in my opinion, he's very overrated. He looked great earlier in the season because of the penetration of the line. I won't disagree that he's probably better than Vasher, still.

I'd just like to say that Devin Hester has now taken his place alongside Darren McFadden as players that scare the ever-living crap out of me.

Yes, McFadden is frighteningly good at what he does.

Without Hester, the Rams would've been going for a game-tying two-pointer there.

Warrants mentioning.

Well the offense could have scored on those 2 drives.

Not necessarily. The Bears offense would have still got to do something wtih those drives.

Seriously Harris didnt even hit him in the damn helmet. The NFL is full of a bunch of pansy asses. Jesus

is that sarcasm? He hit the hell out of his head.

No its not sarcasm. He hit him in the shoulder his helmet didnt touch the Rams WR helmet.

You must've missed the replay then.

No the first replays they showed I thought he hit him in the helmet. But when they showed the side view it showed he didnt touch his helmet.

So the Bears had no chance of scoring on offense if Hester is tackled?

1). I dont think the Bears would be playing an extremely soft zone if it was that close.

2). Who's to say that the Bears wouldn't have scored on those drives that Hester took back?

Wouldn't it be awesome if DH was up on the line to field the onsides and then ran it home from there???

He was back - to protect from the fake - but that woulda been so awesome.

no it doesn't.

it's garbage time. the defense would be playing completely differently if this were a close game.

Since the refs are doing their best to keep StL in the game, and Rex is still in... I hope he gets a few pass attempts, completes them all, and then throws a TD... run up his passer rating!! :D

Agreed. Side view showed it never actually made contact. But he did still lead with the head.

Besides the fact that the Bears D softened up when they got the big lead. I doubt they move down field the way they did if it was close.

UCLA returned two on-side kicks against Northwestern last year in the Sun Bowl (same guy both times).

USC did it once against Notre Dame this year.
