Grossman tempts fate again...but I am sure it was not his fault.

three step drop and the guy is in his face and to you it's all his fault.

No one was in his face, and if there was, he should have used his feet or thrown it away, rather than throwing it into Leber's chest.

No not Devon too!

yes. Rex should be Joe Montana.

the play is designed to be a three stop drop and get rid of the ball. he ran the play as it was called but two guys were pouring in on him before he even got into a THREE step drop.

So the only example of a QB being at fault is when he has absolutely no pressure and throws the ball directly to a wide-open defender, or...?

another

A = B, B = C, therefore Y = cherry pie.

:?:

I just want to hear, in your opinion, what Rex has done wrong today. Everytime he does something, be it a bad decision or a bad pass, you talk about how it wasn't his fault.

he lost track of the linebacker on the first Int.

shouldn't have put so much air under the ball on the second int.

missed Moose on the one play, but made up for it by throwing a strike to Dez.

a couple short throws could have been more accurate.

should boot a little more when in trouble.

he's no having a good game, but the lengths people are going through to bash him are a little silly.

I'm not going to pretend Rex hasn't been godawful today, but I do think it's a very shortsiighted move to bench him.

Obviously now with the lead.

But if it would have continued to be close, or the Vikings take the lead, then it's an entirely different story.

HFA is on the line. Dallas and Seattle aren't going to drop many more games. You can easily turn to Griese and then try Rex again the following week if it's necessary.

Again, you are viewing this through a baseball prisim or through the eyes of a team that isn't ready to win. You cannot ask the Bears D and special teams to keep winning games for them like this.

I missed a little bit of the game earlier. But how does completing a pass make up for missing what sounds like a would-be touchdown? He's a quarterback, his job is to throw the ball to people so that they can catch it. He didn't "make up" for anything.

Keep? This would be the second game that it's happened. Rex has still won them more than he's lost.

Some tight (and surprising) games in the NFL right now.

Buffalo hanging with San Diego 17-14 with 11:49 left.

Cleveland just tied KC 28-28 with 0:35 left.

Detroit beating New England 21-13, 11:49.

Indy and Tennessee tied up 17-17 with 2:32 left.

What games has Rex won for them.
