Gotta roll out more and throw it away. But it doesn't matter.

Rex isn't having many options right now. They're not doing a great job getting open.

Grossman tempts fate again...but I am sure it was not his fault.

three step drop and the guy is in his face and to you it's all his fault.

No one was in his face, and if there was, he should have used his feet or thrown it away, rather than throwing it into Leber's chest.

No not Devon too!

yes. Rex should be Joe Montana.

the play is designed to be a three stop drop and get rid of the ball. he ran the play as it was called but two guys were pouring in on him before he even got into a THREE step drop.

What about the open guys he missed in the first half?

this may be a Bo Jackson type injury to Hester.

Why? I sure hope not. Looked like a normal tackle to me.

He went off on his own power, that's a good thing.

So the only example of a QB being at fault is when he has absolutely no pressure and throws the ball directly to a wide-open defender, or...?

He looked fine as he walked off.

Aside from Moose for the TD? He barely even threw the ball in the first half, anyways.

from first glance it looked like an injury where his upper leg was jammed up into his hip.

Where did I ask him to be Montana? I'd be satisfied if he played like Jim Freakin' Miller at this point.

And, again, no one was in his face.

Turner is just going to yank the chain and run it now. Maybe a few short passes.

Unless the D gives something up, Rex probably won't see much chance to redeem himself today.

A = B, B = C, therefore Y = cherry pie.

Come to think of it, here's a list of guys I want Rex to play like, all reasonable:

Trent Dilfer (Ravens)

Steve DeBerg

Phil Simms

There will be more, but for now I will say....

SAFETY!!!!

yeah, Jim Miller makes the play you described.

the average quarterback doesn't make the read and play you are demanding.

edit - than who knocked the ball down and who was right next to the guy who knocked the ball down?

You know, I've always just LOVED how the Bears celebrate a safety more than they do a TD.

That's Bear football baby.

I just want to hear, in your opinion, what Rex has done wrong today. Everytime he does something, be it a bad decision or a bad pass, you talk about how it wasn't his fault.
