Where do you guys go for your, "cubs" news?

I need some sites to go to while this site is pretty slow right now. And I just need some things to read, cub related?

 

I want to get my internet favorites sorted with several cubs places to visit? I can start with dailyherald.com, rotoworld.com, ect. . But what else do you guys suggest for updated news articles when stuff happens?

I wasn't asking why people weren't posting. I'm not asking you to please come here and keep me occupied. I just want to know what all sites you guys go to when one of you comes here and posts news about new article that was written about the cubs? What's all out there? What's considered, the best?

I check out a few of the blogs, Cub Reporter is one of my favorites. Baseball America and Baseball Prospectus too, but that's not just Cubs-related.

Quite frankly, just perusing the forums here at NSBB keeps me up to date on all the team's happenings. With all the die-hards on this site, not very much (Cubs related) slips through the cracks that doesn't get brought up in a thread, down to the most insignificant blurbs. This is certainly the slowest time of the year, but once the meetings start there should be more action. I'm just as starved for info as anyone.

It's the truth. Maybe if the Cubs actually had a realistic shot of contending next year I would me more excited about what offseason moves they make.

Honestly, there isn't going to be any Cubs news that doesn't show up on this site within a matter of minutes.

 

If you're looking for blogs or opinion articles, there are other options, but there really isn't any "news" out there that hasn't been covered ad nauseam.

I have found the best sites for Cub news are right here at NSBB, the Chicago papers on line sites, and occasionally I'll look at a few blogs. Used to like going to Inside the Ivy, but a lot of the good info left with the "breakup."

 

It's pretty academic that the Cubs.com site is not going to have any "breaking" news on it. This place is the best with all the Diehards reporting.

LAME...its become quite a quality site. The only thing I'm sorry about is that he was right in projecting 3 cubs minor league pitchers (naming Pinto and Mitre) would be traded for Juan Pierre BEFORE ANYONE. His sister site of http://www.rotoauthority.com is great too, but more of a fantasy lean. He also writes for rotoworld. Not cubs related but http://www.thehardballtimes.com has some excellent thought provoking baseball stuff.
