Ok guys...end the argument. Everyone has made their point. Enough.

This goes for everyone.

Oh c'mon, man. The guy comes in here and starts trashing the Bears, kicking dirt in our faces while we are down, and you tell us to back off? The only thing we are doing is challenging him on his backwards a** arguments. He knew he was in for it when he posted it. If he didn't like the response he shouldn't have come in here spouting off.

Enough. Anyone is allowed to post in the Bears thread, even if you don't agree. No one needs to leave the thread. Talk to a mod if you think someone is trolling.

But ndistops, you also have to expect a certain amount of grief in a Bears thread if you're making comments about them...but it's gone on long enough.

Everyone: LET THE TOPIC DROP.

Sorry for being a bad mod and not enforcing...I was too excited over the TD. :)

Thanks for dropping it, guys.

These refs suck.

I still cannot believe they ruled Tillman wasn't down. Is it just me or does it seem like the referee's reviews have gotten worse and even less accurate over the last few years.

Giant fans piss me off. They can go to hell. Coughlin too.

They do seem to whine for flags on plays that obviously don't deserve them.

That's a pet peeve of mine.

Y'know, now I think of it, the Giants are one of the few teams I've never met a fan of.

Some of the responses back at him were against the board rules too.

It was POS. Plus it seemed like he didnt even take any time to review it. I swear that was one of the shortest reviews

Best as I can tell, mine were not. I'll let it go.

Phil Rivers is a star in this league - Bettis

So glad I took him - as my backup QB no less - in a bunch of leagues.

So pissed I sat him for Marc Bulger today in Roast's league.

Alot of them around here due to Eli. I don't really care if the Giants win or lose, I just root for Eli. So, not sure if they qualifies me as a Giants fan.

I think it's that year in, year out, several of the most blatant errors come against the Bears. starting with Majikalphabet to the play I referred to earlier against Detroit in the last game of 2004. the debacle where the Saints benefitted from a penalty in the red zone at the end of the half in 2003, etc etc etc.

You dont have to. Just watch the game and listen to them cry all night long. Its so whiney.

If that's all that was happening, fine. I wouldn't have said a thing. When people start telling him to leave the thread...that's out of line.

And frankly, if an argument in a game thread, Cubs, Bears, or otherwise, begins to get out of control and dominate the thread, I'm going to put an end to it. If you want to start a seperate thread about Carolina's worthiness, and it stays within the board rules, fine. No problem.

Never liked Eli, especially after that SD flap. I once said I'd rather have Craig Krenzel since he was 3-0 as a start (at the time) and Eli was something like 1-6.

Well I was one of the few Ole Miss people to get mad about the SD flap. Most people were trying to give him a break about it, but I always thought it was really wrong to do what he did.

You know, part of what scares me a little about Rex is that he seems unsure of himself in interviews. I know that's a silly reason, but if he can't be comfortable in an interview, how is he going to be comfortable in a big game?

Yes, he's young, but look at a guy like Philip Rivers who's so natural in an interview....

Anyway, it's just a thought.

one thing I don't get about the offense, and this goes for the good games they have had as well, is Grossman's mobility.

why under Turner, allegedly a west coast offense, do they never get the QB out of the pocket? remember when we all said "he's might be good, but has to get better in the pocket?" for those of us who were initially impressed with his early work, it was because of his scrambling ability.

where'd the mobile Rex Grossman go?

this got lost in the Panthers argument and touchdown. thoughts anyone?
