I hope Guz pitches like this in Spring Training!!

I'm still kinda hoping for a rotation of:

Zambrano, Hill, Prior, Lilly, Guzman

Has he finally proven that he can stay healthy for an extended period of time? I would love to see him force himself into a rotation spot in the spring.

Wow, at first I thought these playoffs were too small a sample size, but Ronny is really turning up the heat.

I still think he starts in AAA though.

Okay, this makes no sense. How can Ronny go from being a .230/.284/.324/.608 hitter over the course of a VWL season, but then go .318/.373/.750/1.123 in the playoffs?!?!

That's like two completely different players.

The light went on. He just "gets it" now.

I sure as hell hope that's not what Cubs management thinks, but I would hope that other managements do.

Even in 44 bats, that's a tremendous difference in output. Frankly, I didn't think Ronny was capable of such offensive firepower.

Sure he's capable of swinging the bat well, esp at this level. In 2005, he hit .355/.403/.518/.921 at AAA (245 ABs).

I dont care what he did, it's just that I'd MUCH rather have him as our starting shortstop over Cesar Izturis being a Cub. Izturis is just as bad offensively and makes quite a bit of money not to mention we traded a hall of fame pitcher for him (and didn't even get a prospect)

okay im done beating that dead horse. For all intents and purposes Izturis = Cedeno
