hope you guys enjoyed beating up on the hapless sixers

They looked awful. I don't know how they beat us by 15 at their place.

Winning is fun :D Time to go over .500 with a win on Friday against the Raptors.

They are awful, and I don't know how they did that either. I just hope they lose and get a lottery pick. And fire Billy King too.

The Sixers definitely need to trade Webber. He's a shell of his former self. The worst thing I saw for Philly was their interior defense. Wow, there can not be a worse interior D in the NBA.

I can't think of any team in the NBA that would want Chris Webber on their roster.

He is so so so bad.

Can't they negotiate a buyout or something?

They could really use a guy like Durant. Another mega scorer and dealing Iverson for a stud PG and PF.

PG

Iggy

Durant

PF

Dalembert

Isaiah's all over it as soon as he can convince Dolan.

They're bad outside too. Kyle Korver tries hard, but he's just so bad on defense. It's unfortunate, because he's one of the few guys on that team who can shoot from outside.

Webber is untradeable, probably... he's earning about 10% of his $20M salary and probably will do the same next year. I really hope they trade Iverson. Not because I don't like him, but because I DO like him, and I want to see him on a team that could give a run at going deep into the playoffs. The Sixers are going nowhere, with or without him. They could probably get a couple of good young players or a high draft pick for him at the trade deadline, too.

CNNSI.com is speculating about who might have a shot at Kevin Garnett. The Bulls are the first team mentioned, but I really hate the deal they propose.

SI.com's trade: Garnett ($21 million), Mark Madsen ($2.1 million), Bracey Wright ($664,000) and a 2008 first-round pick for Gordon ($3.9 million), Thomas ($3.3 million), Deng ($2.6 million), Brown ($8.6 million), Malik Allen ($1.8 million) and the Bulls' 2007 first-round pick.

I don't see Paxson trading Deng and Thomas and the rights to the Knicks pick for Garnett. Too much for an aging Big Ticket. 1, 2 years from now, that's an all-star front court.

I want Garnett in the worst possible way, but we'd be giving up way too much in that deal.

Yup, I'd pull the first round pick away for either Thomas or Deng. I am really a big fan of what Deng has done so far this year, and Thomas pretty much has shown that hes going to be a monster in 1-2 years.

Apparently he's been talking to Scottie Pippen. If a young Bulls forward needs anyone to talk to Pippen's about as good as it could get.

Yeah, Deng + Thomas + a lottery pick? No.

We'd be trading Gordon as well in that deal. Gordon + Deng + Thomas + a definite lottery pick. Definitely not. Plus if that deal actually happened (God forbid), we'd be seeing much more of Griffin and Khryapa.

That's ridiculous. Chris Mannix and/or the Timberwolves have ridiculous expectations for Garnett.

And that's before you consider Paxson's trading history.

I wouldn't trade Deng, Gordon, Thomas + a lottery pick for anyone.

The Wolves can stick it if that's what they think they're getting.

They can have the 2007 pick if they want, but as far as I'm concerned Deng is off the table. I would be shocked if Pax doesn't feel the same way.

About as far as I would go would be the first round pick and Thomas. The only reason I'm ok with trading Thomas to net KG is because he plays at the same position as Deng and Noc. I'd be comfortable letting him go to Minnesota if that meant we were getting KG. If that won't get it done, I wouldn't even try to get Garnett.

Deng and Gordon have to be mainstays on this team. I know Gordon is inconsistant at times, but you can't let a pure scorer like him get away.

Yeesh, Phoenix beat the Nets 161-157 (in double OT).

I saw the highlights on ESPN just a few minutes ago. WOW, that would've been an amazing game to see in person.
